The clock is ticking ⏰🚀
For us, there are only two stages left to complete our Mission Giro and win a stage in our first-ever Grand Tour. For you, there's another race against time.
Hi Rocketeers,
⛰️ Almost lost count, but today is stage 20. The final mountain stage of our first Giro d’Italia.
Three weeks ago, we started this adventure with one clear goal, our Mission Giro: win a stage. Today and tomorrow are our final opportunities. 🤞
Before we head into the mountains one last time, here’s what’s happening:
👕 Our Nike collection has been restocked and STOCK = LIMITED!
🇸🇰 Lukáš Kubiš became the fourth Rocketeer to finish T10
⛰️ Stage 20 looks like a day for Wout Poels
🚂 Stage 21 in Rome should be another sprint opportunity
⏳ A race against the clock
There are moments during a Grand Tour when everything feels like a race against time.
A breakaway is fighting the peloton. A sprinter is fighting to make the time limit. A team is fighting to make one final opportunity count.
Our fans wanting to get their hands on items out of our Nike collection must have felt the same.

When we launched the collection a few weeks ago, all items disappeared faster than we expected. We’ve now managed to restock several pieces, but just like for our Giro campaign, there isn’t much time left. 😬
If you’ve been waiting for a second chance, this is probably it.

Four Rockets in the Top 10
Of course we knew, Mission Giro was never going to be easy. 😤
We’re competing against some of the biggest teams and riders in the world. Yet over the past three weeks, our riders have shown they belong here.
Four different Rocketeers have now finished inside the top 10 of a stage this Giro d’Italia, in seven different stages.
🇳🇱 Dylan Groenewegen (3rd) | Stage 3 | Sprint stage
🇳🇱 Wout Poels (9th) | Stage 8 | Mountain stage
🇩🇰 Niklas Larsen (10th) | Stage 10 | ITT
🇳🇱 Wout Poels (8th) | Stage 14 | Mountain stage
🇳🇱 Dylan Groenewegen (6th) | Stage 15 | Sprint
🇳🇱 Wout Poels (10th) | Stage 16 | Mountain stage
🇸🇰 Lukáš Kubiš (10th) | Stage 18 | Hilly stage
📊 That's an average of a top 10 in one out of every three stages. We're really proud of that, especially in our first Grand Tour.
Most recently, 🇸🇰 Lukáš Kubiš added his name to that list. A result that says a lot more than just a number on a results sheet.
Lukáš spends most sprint stages working for Dylan. Positioning. Pulling. Protecting. Doing the hard work that often goes unseen. 💪
This week, he got a chance to race for himself and delivered a top 10 against the very best. Not bad for a rider making his Grand Tour debut.
One mountain stage. One sprint stage.
Today, we head into the mountains one last time.
This is a stage profile that can suit Wout Poels. Long climbs. Big elevation. Pure suffering.
Tomorrow, we arrive in Rome. On paper, that should be another sprint opportunity for Dylan and the 🚂 sprint train.
Two final opportunities.
Can we still do it? 🙏
That’s the question everyone keeps asking us. “Can the Rockets still complete Mission Giro?”
We don’t know, but we believe.
Because what we do know is that this team has been fighting every single day for three weeks. The riders. The staff. Everyone.
And we’ll keep fighting until the final kilometer in Rome.
See you at the finish line.
- Bas 🚀
